Simple Einkorn Bread Loaves Recipe

Helpful Tip:
Remember that with Einkorn flour the dough will be stickier than white flour.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/2 Tbsp yeast
- 1/2 Tbsp honey
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 7 cups of flour
Directions:
1. Mix together the warm milk, warm water, yeast, and honey into your mixer and let it proof for five minutes.
2. Once bubbly, add the eggs, oil and salt. Mix on low until combined.
3. Slowly add the flour one cup at a time. Mix on medium speed for 5 mins. If the dough feels too soft and sticky, then add more flour 1/8 cup at a time.
4. Let the dough rise for about two hours or until it’s doubled in size.
5. Spray 3 loaf pans with nonstick spray and roll the dough into three round balls and place in loaf pans. Let the dough rise again, until doubled in size about an hour.
6. Preheat your oven to 350 and cook for 30 minutes.
7. Dump your loaves out of the loaf pan and press in on the side to check if they are finished. If it leaves an indent when you press on the side, it needs more cooking time. If it instead is crusty on the side, it’s done. Cover the baked loaves with a towel, and let cool.
