Helpful TipS:

– When rolling out your dough, be sure your work surface is heavily floured, as Einkorn dough can be extra sticky.

– Use a non-stick pan when cooking to ensure the tortillas won’t get stuck to the bottom of the pan.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Einkorn flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 2/3 cup lukewarm water

Directions:

1. Mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder.

2. Add the softened butter and using a fork cut it into the flour mixture. Add the water and stir until you have a dough consistency.

3. Using flour as needed, knead briefly, then divide the dough into 5 balls. Cover with a dish cloth and let rest for 30 minutes.

4. Sprinkle flour on your table and roll each ball into a thin, flat circle. Heat your skillet and cook on each side for about 30 seconds or until golden brown.

Best stored in the fridge or freezer.
